Objective of
the Annual Conference of the AOEF
The objective of the annual conference is to bring together
academic researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to discuss the
significant finance issues related to the management of small, entrepreneurial
and privately held firms. Topics covered include non-traditional sources
of financing, valuation of small business companies and small banks,
financing decision of small firms, characteristics and performance of
small business firms, small business loans and capital markets, and
ownership and performance of small firms. In addition to academic sessions,
workshops and seminars are also provided to small business owners.
